Audio bug

I have two audio bugs. One worse than the other.
The first one is that characters sometimes speak more then once and stops saying what he is saying half way through. This happens quite a lot, but isn't influencing gameplay, just a bit annoying.
The other bug however, is worse and the game becomes quite unplayable after a few seconds. The bug is that all audio keeps looping and looping and it will start to make a lot of noise. This happens to me every 10-15 minutes or so.
Most often the audio keeps looping in the menu as well, which basically forces me to restart the game.

Tech Support -- anything I can do to help track this down?

I was having the same problem. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game and restarting my computer and neither of those worked. I did a couple other things and my audio is perfect now. I don't know which solved the issue because I did them all at once, so you may want to try one or all of the things I did:

-First I uninstalled the game
-Then I updated my video card drivers because there is an audio driver that is packaged with it. I also have more than one audio driver on my computer so I checked to make sure those were up to date through device manager in windows
-After that I went into system sound and under the playback tab I disabled every playback device except for one
-Then I installed the game again

I just finished playing for about 2 hours (All FAILURES!!! lol) and I didn't experience any of the audio bugs. I hope this helps.
