Mouse stops working on iMac

Running game via Steam and Logitech wireless mouse stops working when menu chosen within the game. Any ideas why or how to fix. New iMAC and latest OS.

Weird. Have you tried with a different mouse?
I used to be gold, now I'm just silver.
