The LoX world has no auto-scaling, and neither does RPGCodex

There's a fairly interesting RPG news portal out there called RPGCodex.net (are you from there?). Consider adding it to your bookmarks for when you'd like a diversified, well-balanced and uncensored source of RPG news, reviews and previews.

The Codex's community is quite unique. Many topics discussed over there allow you to dig deeper into the structure of games and gain a better understanding of literally every aspect of RPGs; from the graphic engines, right down to programming. From obscure jRPGs, to cRPG classics you've never even heard of. From moding projects to hosted CYOAs... etc. It is, quite simply, a prestigious gaming magazine available in your browser.

I feel their classic Elders Scrolls: Oblivion review might do them justice more than I could. Just a word of caution; the community over there is very opinionated and not afraid to speak their mind, so a thick skin can be useful. They also like potatoes ;)
