The smallest hero with the biggest heart!

Our buddies over at Tribase Studios released a cool iOS/Android 2D Puzzle-Platformer last December. It's about vanquishing power tools, which feels strangely satisfying if you're ever (unsuccessfuly) tried your hand at fabrication. Here is a quote from Brian Manning, COO at Tribase Studios:

Hexi is part of a vision that all of us at Tribase Studios have, which is to come up with fresh ideas and deliver countless hours of entertainment to gamers of all ages and backgrounds. The inspiration for our titles, including Hexi, comes from years of playing games that aren't necessarily cutting-edge, but are beyond fun to play!

We took that inspiration, poured our hearts in and created a beautiful, immersive world where the gameplay is just as charming as the visual arts. And, even more important to us, is the community which forms around a game. Hexi fans can go beyond just playing what we have designed for them; they can use the in-game editor to create levels of their own, and upload them for all to see and play! We're gamers at heart too, and want to give this community something they can enjoy and shape with their creativity, just as we have by developing the game!

We'd love to have the opportunity to interact more with all of you through our games, create all kinds of new levels, and eventually create even more titles where your imagination and ideas count for something. We feel Hexi is a nice little bundle which succeeds at offering many of those ideas along with being a simple, fun and compelling game!

If you are (or know) an avid portable gamer, check out their nice gameplay trailer. Appparently, it was pretty well-received in Japan. You'll find the Apple App Store page for Hexi here, and we're pretty sure you'll find the game affordable (the basic edition is free 8-) ).
