Attack Command Issues

While playing, I discovered that the attack command, when targeted on anything that is allied, will cause all units to attack that unit. This allows you to manually kill a unit anywhere, as well as destroy buildings, which is where the problem lies: You can destroy your Wood Workshop, Stone Workshop, and Foundry, which are normally indestructable through commands.
When these buildings are destroyed, all technology associated with that specific building is lost. For example, destroying the Wood Workshop through this method removes the research for Lookout Towers, Stake Traps, Farms, Snipers, Great Ballistas, Markets, and Stone Workshop (and anything else that may be built from this.)
I assume that it is a bug to target your own buildings, and not that destroying this building removes all the technologies (this would explain why there is no command to destroy them.)
It's very easy to replicate; simply take any unit that can attack, then either use the hotkey (Q) or simply click the attack command, and target the allied building/unit.
