weird miss clicking

i will have a group of rangers and click somewhere on the screen to attack to a place and sometimes they don't seem to know they can path through a gate and try to go around.
i have not been able to really figure out if it is clicks during pause or not as it doesn't happen to much, though it seems like both, just not 100% sure.
this has ended a few games on me now, though despite that, very fun game.
at least until it is not early access anymore, maybe allow the game to load 5 minutes prior to the last save or when the game is closed.
maybe a rewind button option one can click in the ESC menu.
