Mods won't activate

Hi everyone,

Can't manage to have any mod activated from in game, even after the game restarts the message in the main menu still says 'No mods activated'...I tried with both mods from the workshop and my own mods, none worked....any help is appreciated.

Are you using the Steam version or the standalone version?
